The wood shed is situated behind the property and is a standalone bedroom sleeping up to 4 guests in a mezzanine double and 2 singles below.

The garden features a private hot tub with extensive views of the beautiful Yorkshire countryside.

The private Ginnery bar is located next to the house and has a lounge area with wood burner and Sky TV, pool table and bar.

As always with our properties there is a Barbecue and games plus we have packages which can be personalised and added on to your stay to make it extra special for all of the guests.

“I just stayed here for a long weekend with a group of 37. Extremely impressed with everything the Ginnery & Manor had to offer. Really great communication with the host’s, I must have ended up with an email chain of 90+ emails, this is the kind of service the Jekyll & Hideout team provides. We used their recommended events & food provider – Louisianna’s. Lee provided us with tip quality food and lots of fun games. Overall both these companies go the extra mile in accommodating you. A MORE MATURE STAG DO

“Excellent service from booking and throughout. We’re not spring chickens anymore and in theory a little more mature so wanted a stag weekend a little more grown up. We booked the Ginnery and it was perfect for the ten of us. The bar was perfect for an evening, plenty of beers in the fridge for us when we arrived, football on the tv, logs on the fire, a pool table (that could use a little tlc, but was fine) and a dart board. Perfect. The next day we enjoyed a couple of rounds of the on-site footgolf before heading the short taxi ride in to York for the evening. Hot tub was the perfect way to finish the evening. Absolutely recommended for those that want a more laid back stag weekend”

RELAXING BREAK

“Stayed in The Ginnery for a mid week relaxing break. Lovely little cottage with everything you would need for a short break. Fully equipped kitchen, hot tub, sky TV and a great log burner. Hot tub was lush over looking fields and the farm. The extra games room is ideal equipped with pool table, dart board, seating area and another log fire. Close to York, we went shopping for the day. Totally relaxing and Katie the on-site manager was very helpful.
Would highly recommend for a relaxing mid week break or a party weekend.
I had a quick look round the Hideout Mansion and Wolfridge and they were both perfect for a hen party or large group of friends.”

GREAT FAMILY STAY

“Stayed in December for my birthday & was a fabulous 2 night stay.
Myself, husband & 2 children stayed in the “Ginnery” what a beautiful house (sleeps 10 comfortably).
We had full use of our own hot tub, was lovely in December sat with snow on the ground but we were toasty in the hot tub.
The house has a full sky package & WiFi which is a fabulous bonus! A fully equipped kitchen & full size fridge feeezer & dishwasher. The underfloor heating was a bonus in the cold weather!
I’ve recommended this place to many friends for hen stays, or family breaks.
The location was also good – we went by taxi into York centre & was around 20minutes.
Check in/out was prompt & Katie the onsite manager was lovely.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR a stag weekend

“We visited for my mates stag do and booked out The Ginnery. It was absolutely perfect for what we wanted. There was another stag in the other property who were no bother. We took a full DJ set up and nothing was an issue even with our boisterous group. We booked the football golf which was great for most of the group while we set up the garden for the stag challenges. We left everything clean and tidy and got our deposit back with no issues. Can’t recommend this enough for a stag if you don’t want the worry of noise complaints. Thank you for a fabulous stay!!“
